Unsolved Murders Angie Dickens, Shannon Green, and Dewayne BellSo far, no arrests have been made in what police believe was a murder case. Mary Ethel Dickens was called “Angie” by those who knew her and she was one of three people who mysteriously vanished that summer.
Her body was discovered in a cornfield on Lower River Road, 2 1/2 miles West of Owensboro. Due to the condition of the body a definite cause of death could not be determined. As of this date,
the case is still pending.
Green and Bell have never been found.
