BOCM Pauls, which is based near Ipswich and has 23 sites across Britain, is ranked 76th in the new Sunday Times PwC Profit Track 100 league table to be published this weekend.
Its most recently reported annual profit of 15.131million represents growth of 49.95% over the past three years,
the period on which the table is based.
Although BOCM Pauls last month agreed to an 85million euro takeover by Dutch group ForFarmers, it remains eligible for the listing as the deal is still subject to EU approval.
Also in the table is Cambridgeshire based agronomy adviser Hutchisons, which is ranked in 88th place down from 54th in the 2011 listing with a profit of 9.118m,
representing three year growth of 46.35%.
John Minards, douth rast regional leader at PwC, the title sponsor of the league table for the 13th year,

Among the better known business in the Profit Track 100 this year are child car seat manufacturer Britax Childcare, lifestyle retailer Cath Kidston,
footwear wearm Dr Martens, fashion retailer Jack Wills, caf operator Patisserie Valerie and cinema chain Vue Entertainment.
